According to Merrium-Webster;
Memorial Day: May 30 formerly observed as a legal holiday in most states of the United States in rememberance of war dead.

That definition does not begin to express what Memorial Day means to the Veteran.
This is indeed a day on which we remember our Fallen Comrades, that is not disputed. We honor them for their sacrifices made in the name of freedom. Sacrifices which have taken or Comrades far from their homes and loved ones, and have given them bonds to new families...the Comrades.

Freedom is NEVER free. The few, our Comrades-in-arms, pay the price of Freedom so the many may live their lives relatively undisturbed.
Even today, in far-off lands, the American Serviceman is protecting our way of life. These brave men and women are always on watch to ensure that the oppression felt by so many in the world, will not cross our borders.

It is the intent of this page to allow those who may not know the price for freedom to see the sites of the men and woman who have placed the lives of others above their own.
Many of these men and women did not fall to combat wounds. However, their bravery is none the less a testiment to the American Spirit.

May GOD Bless them and those who fight on today.
