Charles Otto August Pleiness, Age 84, of Fruitland Park, Florida, went to his eternal rest on Thursday, 21-Apr-05.
Comrade Pleiness was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retire as a wood model maker from General Motors, Warren, Mi.
He was born in Detroit, Mi. and moved to Fruitland Park in 2004, after being a winter resident for20 years.

Comrade Pleiness was a Lifetime Member of Fred Quandt VFW Post 3901.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Hazel of Friutland, Fl.
Sons: Charles C. [Diane] of New Baltimore, Mi., Glenn B. [Tina] of Covington, Ky.
Daughters: Diane Burby [John] of White Lake, Mi.
Eleven Grandchildren and Nineteen Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceeded by his son Curtis R [Dianne.]
He has been laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetary, Bushnell with Sumter County Honor Guard conducting the Full Military Honors.
